Montreal Fashion week

So far Montreal Fashion week at Bonsecours Market has been impressive.
The designers’ Fall/Winter 2010 collections have been breathe taking!
Yes, Montreal designers have talent. Designers that really stood out are:

• Marie Saint Pierre, her designs mostly consisted of black and whites with a hint of grey.
• I was pleased to see Nadya Toto using bright colors such as magenta for her Fall/Winter designs. We need more color especially during winter.
• Then finally I loved the print and color combination on Christian Chenail jacket! These pieces are a must have for Fall/Winter 2010!I can’t wait for Fall to start all over again.

Its Montreal Fashion Week!
This week is a very big event for our local designers. Their talent will be staged at Bonsecours Market in Old Montreal!

Designers that are a must see:

• Helmer Joseph, his collection is dedicated towards the Haiti fundraiser this year!
• Coccolily by Naana Tennachie Yankey, her designs are characterized by bold and edgy twist made from haute-couture fabrics.
• Barila, designs are recognized for their comfort, edginess and femininity
• Denis Gagnon, collection portrays fashion forward, modern and edgy designs!

Don’t Miss!

1. Monday – Helmer Joseph showing at 9pm
2. Tuesday – Coccolily by Naana Tennachie Yankey at 5pm
3. Wednesday – Barila at 9pm
4. Thursday – Denis Gagnon at 8pm
