Restaurant Leméac: A Classic

Restaurant Leméac: A Classic

At Leméac restaurant on Laurier Street, it is well understood that often, the clients would rather eat a good steak and fries, than some fish-cheek-cooked-in-bubble-wrap-with-foie-gras-froth-and-kumquats-jelly!

Sobriety and good taste never went out of fashion, even though we could use  a pinch of fantasy to spice up our lives from time to time.

However, the classic choices are always sure values, and serve as pillars in our closet. This is our clothes purchasing philosophy, us, Billie Girls. We find it smarter to invest in good quality classics, that will last through the various currents that fashion takes.

Here is a short list of essentials that will allow you to build a solid wardrobe, which eventually could be fluffed up with seasonal trendy items:

  • A straight pair of jeans, well cut in an indigo wash, clean and unadorned.
  • A basic skirt, mid-length in a neutral color
  • A leather jacket that complements your clothes in spring and in autumn.
  • The famous little black dress. Select it preferably in a 4 seasons fabric like silk.
  • A pair of black shoes and a pair of gold ones (gold goes well with all colours)
  • A ballerina or flat pair of shoes
  • A beautiful pair of high heel boots that can be worn over jeans or with dresses and skirts
  • A black jacket perfectly tailored.
  • A white blouse.

This wardrobe base will serve you almost all seasons and not need to be renewed each year.
