How to avoid big pharmacy bills by eating salad
Mandys, the tiny salad bar, is located few steps away from Billie. This does not help my obsession in any way. Moreover, it seems that I obsess by a particular salad every trimester, to the point that I go to get myself one even when on vacation. First, it was the August salad, that I kept eating until it wasn’t August for a loooooong time. Then, the Raegan-Danielle Extra Salad, without the strawberries but with chicken, then I replaced the chicken with Tuna, then I eliminated the tuna just before jumping to the November salad with pecans supplement.
Good thing salad has priceless virtues. It can even help with your pharmacy bills.
Let me explain: For example, in the November salad is made of mixed greens , avocados, shredded carrots, goat cheese, dried cranberries, and pecans ( my little extra ), the whole thing drizzled with a balsamic vinaigrette.
So first of all, lettuce is great for the skin. Its low glycemic index would reduce by 3 the appearance of acne.
Then carrots and goat cheese are a good source of vitamin B9, also called Folic Acid, which is excellent to fight tiredness and overweight, and for future mummies to prevent certain malformations of the fetus
We all know cranberries prevents urinary tract infections
Pecans and olive oil are full of vitamine E. Perfect for beautiful skin on top of being an antioxidant.
Finally the balsamic vinegar is surprisingly very low in acid, therefor good for the PH of our stomach
After all, all these salads were a good investment!
