Rix Rax is a unique place, it is not surprising that the owner is just as unique. Rix Rax would certainly not be the same without the spirit and personality of owner, Juliette. Just like me, Juliette Trolio is from Italian descent. She has a natural sense of fashion. She appreciates attention to detail and the elegance of quality made clothing. She is a devoted shopper always looking for that special piece that will make all the difference in her wardrobe.

Juliette’s very distinct nonchalante appearance much like her store is recognized all over the plateau. While her big curly hair may have shortened over the years, her mischievous smile has always remained.
Her style is rather indescribable; it is composed of different trends from the past and present. Unlike me, Juliette loves summery clothes and chooses clothing that accentuates her curves. Her motto is to always adapt a timeless look. Though she is often seen in tightly fit clothing she is not afraid to dress in deconstructed architectural forms, the Vivienne Westwood way.

I was not surprised to learn that Juliette likes designers like George Levesque and Ann Demeulemeester. Also that she cannot bring herself to wear simple clothing unless paired with extraordinary pieces that will completely eradicate its original simplicity.

Juliette brilliantly mixes fabrics and textures to achieve her original style. She has a gift for matching accessories and shoes to her outfits in order to create very sharp and balanced looks. As a matter of fact, she confessed to me that never she will wear an outfit if she didn’t find the perfect shoe to match it. Her artistic side reflects in her appearance, and by combining the talent of her favorite designers to her ideas, she composes looks that I call pure art. in a way, she becomes her own Pandora Doll.
